Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association was established on June 9, 1988 - the first Computer Association in Vietnam. HCA is a gathering place for leading experts and enthusiasts of the Vietnamese IT industry. With its strong strength, HCA has successfully organized many activities in the fields of consulting, trade promotion, market development, policy advocacy, practical social charity, serving members and the domestic IT community. Saigon Software Technology Center (SSP) and Quang Trung Software Park were established thanks to HCA's proposals to the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City. HCA is also an organization that provides information materials as well as major proposals on policies and guidelines for the development of Vietnam's IT industry.
