At 2:30 PM on Friday, June 12, 2026, the project acceptance ceremony for the " Expert ERP Enterprise Resource Planning Solution " specializing in production management for the packaging industry took place at Hong Thien Packaging Paper Joint Stock Company at Lot CN 15.1, Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park, Bac Ninh Province. The ceremony was attended by the Board of Directors, Project Management Team, and Core Team of both parties.
Established in 2012, Hong Thien Company is one of the pioneering enterprises in the production of paper core tubes in Northern Vietnam. Hong Thien's high-quality paper core tubes are produced on advanced, automated production lines and are used in the plastics, paper, textile, and steel industries. In addition, Hong Thien also produces paper cans and round boxes according to customer orders. Currently, 90% of Hong Thien's revenue comes from FDI enterprises in export processing zones and industrial parks.
Recognizing the importance of ERP implementation in the company's digital transformation process, Hong Thien's management team dedicated significant time and effort to building the company's master data, reorganizing and replanning production areas, warehouses, etc., and researched and worked with numerous domestic and international ERP consulting firms. Before meeting with GMC, Hong Thien's management team had planned to sign a contract with a SAP.B1 implementation partner, promising complete customization to Hong Thien's specific needs.
However, through an introduction from a client implementing Expert ERP in Saigon, GMC conducted a demo with data from the paper packaging industry. The Board of Directors of Hong Thien was completely convinced by the processes, features, and reports of Expert ERP software in solving the specific problems of the paper packaging manufacturing industry and decided to sign a contract with GMC.
During the acceptance ceremony, Mr. Tran Tan Trien - General Director of Hong Thien, stated: “We are truly grateful to GMC for partnering with Hong Thien on this ERP project. Although there were difficulties that arose during implementation, causing the timeframe to extend beyond the initial plan, the teams from both sides always cooperated closely and were undeterred by the challenges. The biggest concern of the Board of Directors when implementing ERP was the deployment of the mobile app for production workers, fearing they would be unfamiliar with it, prone to errors, and discouraged… However, now the workers are running the app smoothly and very well!”
Hong Thien's management team hopes to continue collaborating with GMC to implement ERP for the new factory. Simultaneously, they plan to invest in additional equipment and RFID chips to manage raw material inventory, aiming to help Hong Thien build a "Smart Factory" model that reduces reliance on human labor, increases output, optimizes production costs, and enhances competitive advantage in an increasingly fierce market.
