At 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, the Kick-off Ceremony for the project: "Consulting & Implementation of Expert ERP Enterprise Resource Planning Solution," specializing in production management for the carton packaging industry, took place for Tan Thanh Dat Packaging Joint Stock Company in Thanh Xa Hamlet, Nguyen Van Linh Commune, Hung Yen Province. The ceremony was attended by the Board of Directors, Project Management Team, and Core Team of both parties.
Tan Thanh Dat Packaging Joint Stock Company was established in 2013, with its factory located in Yen My, Hung Yen province, covering an area of 20 hectares, a charter capital of 200 billion VND, 200 skilled employees, and a production capacity of 150 tons/day.
The manufacturing plant is meticulously planned according to international standards with advanced and modern machinery. It strictly adheres to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & FSC CoC quality standards.
Specifically in 2025, Tan Thanh Dat invested $5 million in the most advanced machinery: heat-slicing cutters, large-format automatic die-cutting and gluing units, multi-platform printing capabilities combining flexo, offset, and new generation 4-color printing machines.
Driven by a desire to implement advanced management solutions and elevate corporate governance, Tan Thanh Dat has been researching ERP systems for many years but has been unable to implement them due to various reasons. Most importantly, the company has worked with numerous domestic and international ERP vendors but has not found any suitable solutions. Determined to aggressively implement ERP in 2026, Tan Thanh Dat has recruited an IT expert with extensive knowledge and experience working with Oracle ERP systems, who previously worked for a large corporation.
Following the online presentation and demo of the Expert ERP system – a comprehensive and in-depth management solution for carton packaging production – and at the invitation of GMC, the Board of Directors of Tan Thanh Dat visited a case study of GMC's packaging industry at Vinh Loc 2 Industrial Park, Tay Ninh Province (formerly Long An). On May 19, 2026, the Board of Directors of GMC conducted a survey of the current management situation at Tan Thanh Dat's carton packaging factory and signed a contract for consulting and implementing the Expert ERP comprehensive enterprise management solution.
The project's scope includes all modules: Sales – Purchasing – Inventory – Production Planning – Production Management – Maintenance – HR – Costing – Accounting & Finance, integrated with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) & RFID. The ERP project implementation time is estimated to be between 8 and 9 months.
The goal of the two Boards of Directors is not only to implement the ERP system but also to help Tan Thanh Dat build an advanced, modern management system based on the "Smart Factory" model, reducing reliance on human resources, optimizing production costs, and increasing competitive advantage in an increasingly fierce carton packaging market.
